NEW COVENANT ASSEMBLY

Why Do We Exist?

Every church needs to have a mission statement that answers the question, Why do we exist?

At New Covenant Assembly, we filter every idea, program and budget request through our Vision and Mission statement.

If what we plan doesn’t help us meet our mission, then we don’t do it.

Vision

New Covenant Assembly exists for this purpose – to discover Jesus through:

    • Worship
    • Biblical preaching
    • Loving mentorship

Mission

Our mission is to help people discover Jesus and deepen their relationship with Him and others.

This is the foundation for everything we do and is the basis of our ministry.

LOVE GOD  ♥  LOVE PEOPLE

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Loving God

Loving God is our most important rule of Faith and is strongly commanded in scripture.

Loving our neighbor

Loving our neighbor is the 2nd most important rule of faith and is also strongly commanded in scripture

Discover Jesus by Expressing Our Love: We express our love for God (Jesus Christ) through praise and worship, teaching, preaching, communion, fellowship, community service, and whatever else we can do to honor God, one another, as well as, strangers. We must continually adjust our way of thinking to find ways to show God love and show our love and His love to one another, as well as, the community around us.

Deepen Our Relationships as We Express God’s Love: Nothing compares to God’s love for us and for the world. Our Love for Him, for one another, for our neighbors can only be genuine and effective to the degree that we realize, understand, and accept God’s Love for us. 1 John 4:10 – In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
